Pesticide Justice

Robert J. McKee was born in Washington, D.C., in 1957. Bob was raised in a military family, who traveled and lived in many areas of the United States, and even the United Kingdom. In 1979, he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Science with highest honors from the University of Florida. Prior to commencing his legal career, he developed enterprises as a South Florida landscape contractor and nurseryman. Enraged by injustice, Robert enrolled in law school at St. Thomas University School of Law, from which he graduated with honors while being a Law Review member. In 1993, Robert became an associate with Krupnick Campbell Malone Roselli Buser Slama & Hancock. His unique background in agricultural science put him as an integral part in the firm’s litigation by representing hundreds of farmers against E.I. DuPont de Nemours and Company, Inc. in regard to its fungicide Benlate®. For his stellar performance, Robert became a named partner in 1998, and the firm’s name changed to Krupnick Campbell Malone Roselli Buser Slama Hancock McNelis Liberman & McKee in 1999. Robert has litigated against many of the world’s largest companies, including DuPont, Novartis, Basf, Exxon and BP. 

Robert is admitted to practice in both Florida courts and before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the Eastern District of Louisiana. 

Utilizing his science education and experience, Robert specializes in toxic torts, agricultural, environmental, commercial, and complex products liability litigation. He handles toxic exposure and contamination cases throughout the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Robert is a member of the American Bar Association, The Florida Bar, and the Broward County Bar Association. He is also involved with the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and Broward County Trial Lawyers. 

Among other recognitions, Robert has been certified as one of the “Top 100 Trial Lawyers” by The National Trial Lawyers in 2012, as one of the “Best Lawyers in America” 2008, as one of “South Florida’s Top Lawyers” in 2010, 2011 and as one of “America’s Most Honored Professionals”. Robert is also AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell for practicing law with the “highest level of legal ability and ethics”. 

After a successful trial career at Krupnick Campbell, in 2013 Robert founded The McKee Law Group. Robert and his team represent injured individuals with competency and passion.
